Dear All, I would like your thoughts on my problem. I purchased from Banggood a x98 pro last December, I only use windows on the tablet and I mainly use when I travel, for reading, surfing and watching movies. Within a month, the tablet died. I contact Banggood and they agreed to replace it, so after waiting another month and half and paying shipping cost and customs I received another tablet, which after 3 months it died as well. As I mentioned, I only when I travel, for reading, surfing and watching movies in the train or plane and perhaps some light gaming. Banggood now offers me to either send the tablet to them so they can repair it (which means more shipping cost and more customs fees) or to give me a $100 voucher (less than half the price I paid) to order another tablet or whatever I want (again more shipping cost and customs fees). For no reason whatsoever they do not accept to replace the tablet again. My question is, should I order again the same tablet (which I do not trust anymore), should I order another “chinese” tablet (which I do not feel very confident with them any more), or should I just buy other crap from them and focus on a brand name tablet? Has any of you had a similar experience with Banggood that managed to resolve in a better way? Is it worth to repair the same tablet? Thank you for all your help!
If you mainly use for reading, surfing and watching films then I suggest getting a brand name android tablet and sell the x98 on ebay as broken (or try to fix, what is the problem?)
A good quality android tablet will like be faster at everything you want to do, lighter and have a much better battery life. Something like a nexus 9, samsung tablet s, xperia z2 tablet will give a much better user experience. An ipad is also another good option.

I prefer windows tablets, as it gives me the ability to run other software as well, when needed.
both of the tablets (first one and the one i have now) they will not turn on by any possible way, combination of buttons, with or without power etc. I tried everything. The first one was dying slowly (random reboots) until it completely died; the second one died after a windows update. update was installed and then it would not power up.
Thanks

Sorry for late reply, I’ve been away. I would say if you use windows a lot then I would save up and buy a surface (if you want a tablet) the Surface 3 has been as cheap as £300 or get an ultrabook (for me windows is not a great tablet experience – for my x98 pro I pretty much only use windows when I can use a mouse and keyboard)
June 22, 2016 at 10:26 am #41711Really? I feel like windows are offering a better tablet experience overall. Sure there are apps missing, but it is mainly apps I do not use. I am happy with it.
Anyway, at the end I accepted the voucher. I think you are right and I will wait until surface 5 comes out so the price of 4 will get much lower. now I need to figure out what to do with the voucher.
Thank you for all your help.
