I’m new to the forum and have had my Chuwi Hi12 for a few weeks now. Really pleased with it other than the performance when trying to watch content through the SkyGo website on Windows
I fear the tablet simply can’t cope as after a short period of playback at good quality/bitrate, the video starts to lag behind the audio. The quality then drops significantly allowing for the video to catch up with the audio again.
Has anyone else had this issue? I’ve noticed that the CPU pegs at 100% and the GPU is working hard too. I’ve tweaked the Chuwi settings as much as I can in both Bios and within the Intel software but it has made little difference. I’ve checked silverlight settings, tried different browsers etc and have run out of ideas.
Is it worth trying on Android? I would need to reinstall Android – it was removed to maximise Windows partition as I had no intention of using the Android side of things. Or am I being unrealistic and expecting too much from the baby Atom CPU.
