Since my K9C3 upgraded to dual boot doesn’t seem to be able to work properly under mirek’s v6 Android ROM, I’ve turned it back into a single boot, but noticed @pierre had mentioned PhoenixOS.
Phoenix OS is (another) Android-as-a-desktop
When you install 1.0.7 beta it gives the option to install to hard disk and let you “dual boot” by using a menu, however I’m not having any luck:
Upon startup:
efi: Table located above 4GB, disabling EFI.
dmi: Firmware registration failed
Failed to find cpu0 device mode
dmi-sysfm: dmi entry is absent.
Detecting Phoenix OS….[forever]
My guess is that it doesn’t like the internal hard drive somehow and can’t read/load the necessary files? Anyone else given it a try? Looks like a relatively handy option to get Android up on a single boot BIOS device
