Three drawers in my apartment hold old devices, and my partner finally told me to deal with them. I’ve heard phones in trade in programs can knock real money off a new model. Has anyone tried one lately? I’d love a recommendation for a shop that keeps its word after inspecting the device.

Three drawers of old phones is impressive, my place is heading that direction too. My partner nagged me for months before I finally cleared out two old devices last year, and the trade-in credit actually covered a decent chunk of my upgrade. I went with Handyswap since the process was painless: online quote, prepaid label, ship it, done. The trick is being honest about condition upfront, because that’s what keeps the final payout in line with the original quote. Worth clearing those drawers before the models lose more value.
