- The same person who asked the above question posted a comment later that he bought an “Amplim 128GB” card and it that it recognized the full amount. So far, this is the only specific card I’ve been able to run across a confirmation on.
- When I asked in the Chuwi forums if we can buy extra Chuwi chargers, they answered “You can search it on some online store, aliexpress, amazon, ebay, etc. The voltage shouldn’t exceed 5 v.”

May 24, 2016 at 7:40 am #384392. Regarding chargers, the original charger is 5V 3Amps. Although the tablet does charge with a 5V 2.5Amp charger, it just takes longer.
I’m presuming any quality 5V 3Amp power supply will operate just fine.June 7, 2016 at 6:47 am #40098I have tested the following cards with my HiBook. They all work:
200GB SanDisk Ultra Premium Edition https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V62XBQQ
128GB Amplim https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B015DJLUTM
64GB Amplim https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CY65JD0You may have to format it under Android, which will format it as FAT32. Then you’ll be able to share it between Windows and Android sides of the tablet.

June 7, 2016 at 7:02 am #40100The extra charger that I bought is:
SONEic (model CC401BK)
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B017BVLLC6
Now, one caveat with this charger is that when I insert the cable one way it charges just as well, if not better, than the included Chuwi charger. BUT if I turn the cable over and plug it in the other way… nothing.
The original Chuwi charger can be plugged in using either orientation and it will charge both ways.

June 7, 2016 at 10:11 am #40130Received my tablet yesterday.
I’m using SAMSUNG microSDXC EVO 64 GB and a SanDisk Ultra Fit 128 GB USB Flash Drive USB 3.0
Idea is to have the microSDXC for Android and the Flash Drive for Windows.I assume that I can use the drives for both OS in parallel.
I’m planing to buy this charger https://www.amazon.de/Universal-Reiseadapter-Netzstecker-Ladeger%C3%A4t-USB-Adapter/dp/B01DW9X6IS/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1465292770&sr=8-7&keywords=5v+3a+usb+netzteil
as the original one is getting hot and the adapter I’m using from a Pipo tablet makes it wobbly.

Looks like that one should work. I’d be a little hesitant because there’s no reviews and a lot of junk out there. But please update with whatever you get so we know to avoid it or learn that it’s good!
The 200GB microSDXC came formatted in exFAT, I think. Windows, of course, had no problem with that. Android detected the card and offered to format it. Now in FAT32, I can share between the two OSes. It’s nice to just have a memory card shared… if I disconnect the keyboard I’m not losing it with my two USB ports.

June 12, 2016 at 3:47 pm #40697SanDisk Ultra Android microSDXC 128GB (SDSQUNC-128G Micro SDXC Ultra Class 10 UHS-I) works fine (Android & Windows 10)
June 18, 2016 at 10:55 am #41377The Sandisk Ultra microSDXC 64GB (SDSQUNC-64G) works fine as well. Formatted to exFAT so only working on Windows (I have files >4GB that I have to store unfortunately).
This USB-C adapter from Tmall works as well:

Anyone has suggestions on apps that can read exFAT cards on Android?

I believe you’ll have to install exFAT drivers for Android, which requires root. I haven’t done it, but read about others on other Android devices.
The following Type-C OTG adapter has worked well on the HiBook: https://smile.amazon.com/VicTsing-Adapter-Reversible-Chromebook-Supported-Black/dp/B017GNH5RO
I also purchased a couple of these 90-degree POWERED Micro USB 2.0 OTG adapters and was able to use my 1TB backup drive off of it. I haven’t tested the power passthrough, but that should allow me to hook up full sized backup drives! https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M7X6XNG
Both of these were extremely cheap!! $5.98 and $2.20 each (USD).

June 19, 2016 at 10:30 am #41460I had the similar USB-C adapter and it is not working for me. I guess my USB-C port already broken, since when I connect the charger, it will always shows USB device not recognized error. I suppose they install the cheapest USB-C port they can find on the market, and I got the lemon :(.
At least I can still charge with it, probably on the data pins broken.

Hi, as far as I can tell you can’t use the SDcard in Android OS for apps it won’t let you
