I’ve been wondering if there is a way to decrease the brightness of the blue power LED. It’s not a huge deal but I find it a bit annoying when using it in a dark environment. Now, it’s obviously possible to cover it up from the outside, but that’s not really a pretty solution. Any other suggestions?

Ha yeah bothers me too. I put some black paint on it from a marker pen. Now it’s about 50% less bright when using it at night watching the walking dead.

Maybe it’s possible to turn it off in the BIOS? I looked but couldn’t find anything. ;(

Just use the tip of a black Sharpie / Felt Tip Pen and dab a tiny spot of black ink on top of the LED.
