Problems updating Bios to 0630 – Mi Notebook Pro

Hi, I know I’m very late on this topic, but I would also like to update my BIOS from 502 to 603 to be able to apply the voltage unlock patch to undervolt the CPU.

What happened after the fail message? You laptop didn’t brick? Are you still on 502?

Here are all the mods available for our notebook, the v603 isn’t the latest BIOS, you should check this link. The latest BIOS is an executable, really easy.

Thank you, I had already found that and it is a great source for mods. I would not upgrade to 906 since bad temperatures are reported here and the BIOS patches for undervolting don’t work on it. Did you update to 906? How is your experience?

I just installed the BIOS that came out last month and you are right the latest 3 versions doesn’t have the patches. I guess I don’t really use those, I think the stock fan profile is okay, although I dont use the notebook heavily, I dont play games (well I do, but on Geforce Now, so it’s only a video stream).
