It would make more sense if they included that feature, so you wouldn’t have to buy a phone separately. Before, if I wanted to buy and activate a sim card, I had to go to phone shops or carrier stores. Basically those kiosks where a staff member would enter my data into some system, and only after that you could actually use the sim. Now everything is obviously way more convenient.
My most recent sim cards were all esims, which you can set up from home and start using right away. What I don’t like about Globe Telecom SIMs is that they often ask for sms confirmation during activation or account registration. But where is that sms supposed to go if you don’t have a number yet? In the end I quickly set up a virtual sim on smsfast to get the code, finish activation, and then start using the sim normally.
