I tried to update my Hi8’s bios to the dual boot one and the application shut down the tablet right after it finished clearing the bios boot section. Now it doesn’t power on or light the leds when connected to the charger.

I have already received a CH341a usb programmer, SOIC8 clip and 2-channel bi-directional logic level converter but I just don’t know how to hookup the LLC, some people were successful in flashing a 1.8v chip with a 3.3v programmer but since I have the converter I don’t want to take risks.

Hi I hope THIS link will help you.

P.S.  I think you need a 4 channel LLC. Also check BIOS chip datasheet.

Anyone got a bios dump from an SPI flasher? I finally managed to get the programmer to work but the tablet won’t turn on, there is only 1 bios for the singleboot and at least 4 for the dualboot, I tried all, no luck.

Has anyone managed to get a BIOS dump using an SPI flasher? I finally got the programmer to work of ashley elliot husband, but my tablet still won’t turn on. There’s only one BIOS available for the single-boot version and at least four for the dual-boot version. I’ve tried all of them, but still no luck.
