Hi,
I recommend just a factory reset. So many people wipe partitions and lost dual boot. And have driver issues, its not worth the hassle, the machines don’t have any bloatware or malware. So if it was already set up and you’re worried about that, just a factory reset will be fine.
Good to know about the RAM speeds thanks.
My Z8350 Cube iwork1x also is running just fine at 1600Mhz, but if you do have a random lock up or graphic glitches set it back to 1066mhz.

Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30December 27, 2016 at 8:42 pm #59370Just letting everyone know that my brand new Dual Boot Hi10 Pro X5-z8350 just arrived with RAM speed set to 1067. You can indeed change it to 1600 safely in BIOS. I couldnt find anyone else confirming this other than on H12s. While i am here is it safe to reinstall Windows via USB (formatting the windows partitions etc) on these dual boot machines? Do they still dual boot ok?
Got mine as well set to 1067, how do you enter bios on these tablet? Dont see any choice on startup?
December 29, 2016 at 3:13 pm #59464when you boot keep tapping escape button, should enter bios.

February 4, 2017 at 12:24 pm #61586Someone can confirm this?
February 6, 2017 at 10:08 pm #61747Can confirm. Just did this with my tablet and CPU-Z reads DRAM frequency at 1599.3 Mhz. Notice I only changed the speed not anything else that was done in that video.
February 8, 2017 at 11:51 am #61845can you upload a youtube video for this? to follow your steps.
Also did you noticed the performance or it is like you it was before you change the mhz?February 10, 2017 at 11:05 pm #61999I cant change it. I tried but when I exit the bios it gives me black screen for a minute and then is back..
Can you upload a photo? Also if you can report here what is your serial number cuz they are so many diffrent versions of chuwi hi10 pro z8350
