    Hi all,

4 weeks ago I decided to re-install my tablet, having two Windows partions and 50 Chinese/50% English system language was a bit too much. Well, shortly after re-installing using a fresh copy of Windows 10 Pro the problems started….

    Random shutdowns
It is caused by internal power error, I suspect that using Spotify triggers it since it not using it actually reduced the random shutdowns to 4 times a week. (It died 3-6 times per day when using Spotify)

    Horrible battery stats
I can get 3-4 hours after rebooting to dualboot screen and let it die before charging 100%. It used to be like 7-8 hours before re-installing Windows 10. Normal usage, mostly surfing the web and word.

    Does not always power on
This might actually be the worst thing, it is often fixed by letting it charge for 20min.

I have the latest drivers installed, latest updates etc.

I suspect that the Teclast x98 pro might not work correctly with the latest drivers since I never had this problem with the OEM version.

Anyone else having the same problems?

Check the FAQ on the forum, these are common problems with the tablet.  You need to disable IGD turbo boost on BIOS,  configure the cooling policy to passive, maybe limit CPU thermal state…
