Yep.. I don’t think it happens with Samsung. That’s a shame, I bought the 128GB Sandisk at the states (I’m from Israel).. Could have easily bought the Samsung..If only I knew. :\
March 15, 2016 at 11:51 am #29479My card is a Samsung 64GB SDXC and I am having problems like most of us, so brand is not a guaranty…
March 16, 2016 at 2:56 pm #29644I have 2 64gb Samsung cards. One works, the other doesn’t, at least they both work in my phone so not a massive deal.
March 16, 2016 at 3:21 pm #29648Hi
I’ve just bought this: Samsung Evo Plus Evo + 128Gb Micro sdhc classe 10 Mb-Mc 128d, but I’m waiting for the Tablet 🙂
Hope it will work fine

March 16, 2016 at 7:07 pm #29679is in my opinion, misleading advertising, the fact is announced that the tablet can expand the memory to 128GB through micro sd and that really is not permitted, it is enough to ask for the money back right. If they had a bit of responsibility and respect for the user, and would have a solution to the problem.
March 17, 2016 at 1:56 am #29720Hi All, I am trying to get the names of both sd driver files on the X98. I didn’t realize that the 64 GB of storage uses the same drivers, and I “semi-bricked” my x98. I think I can fix it if I can get the name of the so called compatible driver for the sdhost from the device manager. I was wondering if someone could go into the device manager, pick one of the sdhost devices, bring up the properties, indicate that you want to update the driver, and pick local drivers rather than search windows, select compatible drivers. There is one other driver file that will show up, I need to get the file name for that driver. Thanks!

I’m not sure if this is what your looking for. I certainly wasn’t going to press next on that third one…lol
March 17, 2016 at 2:44 am #29727Hi MadMax, Thank you for taking the time to help! I had tried the SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller. I’m hoping I can backup the SDA Compliant driver then overwrite it with a the Intel SD Host Controller file, and get the unit to boot….
I don’t blame you for not wanting to press next. I didn’t think that the boot device would show up as an sd device, but…. It looks like you have two Intel sd host controller drivers, I assume one is the Windows 8.1 version that lets you use the SD card with Windows 10? This qualifies as a big ooops! Thanks for the help!

At last. Yesterday you upgrade the BIOS, and my card SDXC 64GB Kingston Class 10 works perfect. It has been updating the bios (2 minutes) and then recognize it without problems. This exFAT formatted and perfect time.
Thank you very much!!!
March 17, 2016 at 11:03 am #29762Did Android read the card formatted as exFat?

some are lucky … 16gb and 128gb fail for me 🙁 samsung 32gb too and fews other sandisk ..
March 19, 2016 at 9:45 am #30006It does seem to me that any class 10 cards are hit and miss, where as most class 6 or 4 cards work, just a shame its hard to get class 6 64gb cards, there is a Sandisk ive seen on ebay but im reluctant as Sandisk never work

Hi, yeah this has been posted before, it does make any card work but at massively reduced speeds, my Transcend 32gb class 10 is normally 80 read and 40 write, with this driver it is 10mb read and write, better then nothing though and I am currently using it for Windows 10
March 19, 2016 at 4:03 pm #30053Does anyone know the file name of this driver: SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller?
