If you get the OOBE (Out-Of-Box-Experience) as Microsoft calls it, i.e. it installs Windows then I would trust it.
If you start it and get a fully installed Windows with a pre-installed account (Admin for instance) then someone in China has installed an image which I wouldn’t trust. Especially since Microsoft does not allow such an install.
I have 4 Chuwi LapBooks, 2 15.6 and 2 14.1. All came with the OOBE, except one LapBook 14.1, it came with a full installed Windows with an ADMIJN account (spelling error perhaps). Weird. I dont’ trust that one and will copy Windows over from the other LapBook 14.1.
Also check whether the copy of Windows on it is licensed (in System info).
