    Having trouble myself, Mali don’t work and no for tegra, my bet is with adreno haven’t checked yet..any one else care to shed some light on this

    PowerVR is the supported GPU for Intel x86 tablets. But the Chuwi Hi8 actually uses its own Intel HD Graphics GPU. I’m able to get some games to work by using Power VR OBB though. Need For Speed No Limits won’t work on Hi8 no matter what.

    There is an awesome tool for this, called GLTools. It decompresses the textures if the format not supported and then recompresses them to the correct format. Also, you can apply anti-aliasing (which is not really useful on FHD), or measure the fps. It can even lower the rendering and texture resolution, although it can cause many bugs (mostly unusable GUI).

    Of course, root is necessary.
