I was looking forward to purchasing the Cube iWork 11 Stylus+off. keyboard for 210USD+50USD with shipping from Gearbest. But unfortunately according to Chris’s review, the tablet turns out to be running 32-bit and possibly 32-bit UEFI, thereby limiting the ram utilisation to 2.9GB.
I was going to purchase the ONDA oBook 11(190 USD) until I found out ONDA’s general build quality. I then opted for the Teclast x16 pro(250 USD) until I found touch screen issues on the official forum for both the pro and power. Further that trying to source an official keyboard(that has a crap flip cover stand) would cost 25-32USD.
VOYO certainly has nice hybrid laptops for 260-300 USD, unfortunately however VOYO is said to have terrible build quality as opinion floats around 2013-early 2014 on international posts that I could find through Google. Not sure about these particular ones, but it certainly steered me away.
So now I’m rather stuck. Should I just purchase the Cube iWork 11 Stylus?Or opt for some Cube Core M tablet? I’m not sure whether I would benefit much from Core M though because I’m going to be using this for Comp Sci coding projects at Uni on a daily basis and I would prob better benefit from Skylake. I have a desktop pc to do all my heavy lifting at home for any large coding projects which is why I’m not going full-out 400USD on a tablet.
Should I simply wait for Skylake tabs to hit the market in the 2016? Then hopefully better 250USD tabs+keyboards come out by then.
However I need this tablet ideally by March 2016.
