In Windows I get the same issue with the default MS Camera app…but I tried a different metro app and it recorded video successfully (didn’t like the app so uninstalled it, but confirmed the camera works.)

Hello, I do not know if you’ve solved your problem, but I had the same message on Chuwi Hi10 x64. I made a driver update (21.10586.6069.2007 (03/02/2016), 32 bit, the image acquisition device and everything works great !!! Good luck

This is the typical error on the old windows camera app solved by the 1511 update. It’s not a driver problem related.

Just update your windows and enjoy!

This is  an ISSUSE that has been going on for weeks. I had problem with windows camera. My windows camera picture worked, but the video recording did not work. I was getting error “0xa00F425d something wrong see if it is connected” I was using driver version 07/08/2015  8,8,9,468. I download and installed driver 21.10586.6069.2007 now the camera and video work perfectly.

I had problems with camera video, this fixed problem
