    Hello All,

I am looking a purchasing the Cube Mix Plus tablet and would like advice on creating an image of the ssd before loading it with third party applications.

Currently I use Acronis True Image for all my computers and wonder if I could plug in a USB optical drive or a bootable USB drive to startup Acronis to create the image.

I see there is a Cube Mix Plus I18 image under the downloads part of this site. Is this the factory version as you recieve it? How is it installed onto the device if a restore is required?

    Many thanks,

    Digitalization.

Has no-one tried to make an image of the SSD on this tablet?

Can anyone confirm the tablet will boot to cd rom?

    thanks.

The files in the Win10 folder must be copied over to a fat32 formatted usb stick, then booted off this stick via boot override in the bios.  It will then give you a factory restored system

Surely its not that simple… copying the Win10 folder onto a USB stick.  That’s not how backups normally work.

Is the downloadable image for Cube Mix this very format you are talking about?   This would be factory reset.

Can someone try to make an image of their tablet and let us all know how it goes… acronis, ghost, clonezilla etc

    thank you !!

Indeed that is what I was assuming at first too.  However, this method is also a similar method used to recover on the Surface Tablets too (Format as fat 32 and copy the files across).  You may have to change USB boot to UEFI I guess.
