How did you get it work? Did you use orginal files from jide.com, or downloaded them from some other place?

I just tried it on my Teclast X16 Pro and it does the same thing, it first has an error and says press any key to continue, then says Detecting Android-X86 and then says found /dev/sdb1….

then its just a blank screen forever until I decide to reboot etc…

For those who saying they got it working I can’t understand why you can’t just post it here on the forum?

There is a new way to install, that is kinda permanent, so I may try that at some point, and I will post, I tried playing with it the other day and completely messed the tablet, but was able to get it restored easy enough, so I’m not worried about messing it up anymore 🙂

Install Remix OS on Hard drive

ON WINDOWS SIDE OF TABLET GO TO START MENU TYPE “PARTITION”
RIGHT CLICK ON D OR E OR WHATEVER DRIVE LETTER AND CLICK SHRINK VOLUME
SHRINK VOLUME TO DESIRED AMOUNT AND RENAME REMIX OS CLICK OKAY
DOWNLOAD REMIX OS FILES FROM WEBSITE
EXTRACT .ISO FILE FROM DOWNLOADED REMIX FILES
COPY CONTENTS OF ISO FILES AND PASTE INTO REMIX OS DRIVE THAT YOU PREVIOUSLY CREATED
LOCATED UNDER DEVICES AND DRIVES UNDER MY COMPUTER FOLDER
REBOOT, HIT F7, AN OPTION FOR REMIX OS SHOULD APPEAR CLICK ON IT AND THE OS WILL LOAD

MY X98 PRO WOULD NOT BOOT REMIX UNLESS CONNECTED TO EXTERNAL MONITOR VIA MICRO HDMI PORT AND USED WITH USB HUB TO CONNECT MOUSE AND KEYBOARD SHOULD WORK ON X16 AS WELL

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU GUYS OUT ^.^ YAYY!
