Yeah they have announced a dual  OS version running Remix OS for the android side. Should be out soon

That seems like a smart move on their part. I was able to install and run RemixOS on my Hi12. The only problem is the WiFi is not working. The version I used is the hacked one from XDA Developers. It’s rooted and Google apps are included!

My computer and my laptop can’t run Remix OS, but my laptop can run Phoenix OS without the WiFi. I haven’t tried it on my dual-boot Hi12… kinda nervous considering that I’m not experienced with recovering a dual-boot system

Richard, did you try using a USB? That’s how I tested mine before installing it.

Awesome so if nothing else someone can make a backup from a factory reset and we should be able to just apply that. What recovery are you using ?  Or did you do an actual install using boot media ?

Fortunately i didn’t already bought the dual version.

I read somewhere that the remix os shown at 2016 ASIA CES a couple of days ago, was just a demo and it is not supposed to be sold.

This was confirmed by Jide spokesmen…
