    Hiya,

I found this thread on my travels and was wondering if anyone has tried flashing Remix on the X98 Pro:

Teclast x98 AIR 3g/II – Remix OS installation guide and review.

I’m currently using Mirek’s rom which I really like but I also loved Remix on my Onda V919 Air Dual (especially the multitasking) and wanted feedback from other X98 Pro users.

I have asked Mirek if he thought swapping out the system.img file from one of the roms in the above thread would work and I’m hoping for an answer soon.

Let me know – cheers guys 🙂

I did see that thread Karl0ss but I was more hoping that someone might have info on a Teclast Remix rom for the X98 Pro like there is for the X98 Air 3g/II in the link I posted.

I’m not really interested in any boot from USB stick options, only a rom to flash on the android side.

    Thanks anyway

The version of remix for the Air, is made by someone at remix, not teclast, and is only version 1.0…

You could always messaged remix and ask, but it doesn’t look like teclast are doing anything for our tablet anymore…

I emailed Teclast after sales about it – I’ll post their reply when I receive it.

How do you know who made those roms?

I don’t really GAF which version it is – I’m hoping the volume issue is improved like it was when I flashed it in my Onda V919

I can’t believe the volume is so bad in android – I’ve got a crappy iPhoney 6 that cost about ÂŁ40 that has much better sound quality.

Crap speakers mate, it is much improved after flashing the ViperAudioMod though..

I know remix made it as, its an officially supported rom on the remix site, its not made by some 3rd party person from the source, as we don’t have the source for x98Pro..

They certainly did – I saw that on their website last night, fully supported.  Gives me hope for our version and to that end, I emailed them too.

No joy whatsoever from Teclast, as you predicted – screenie attached.

I’ll give Viper a go.  Hadn’t done so thus far as I thought you had to have Xposed installed to use it?  Will read your link Karl0ss – thanks.

Is that running off a usb key? I have tried to install to the HDD, but it failed to install the bootloader so It just boots windows still..
