    Nobody?

Doesn’t seem like a difficult question for people who are familiar with user accounts in Windows 10.

why not just reset windows from the recovery menu in the control panel? its a bit dangerous to assume that a preinstalled account has nothing malicious in it

Thanx, but it’s safe to say that after a month of waiting for an answer I assumed that it would not matter…
So I used that account, hopefully without problems I do not know about.
Resetting Windows is quite an operation with all the updates that you’ll have to install afterwards. And moreover: I read somewhere that you will end up with a Chinese version of Windows and that might bring some problems, but there are is some conflicting info about that.

But what exactly could go wrong with using that account? Can you give a specific example?
By the way: I scanned the tablet a couple of times for viruses and malware and everything was alright.

Pardon…? The same goes for me off course.
But when I join a forum, I make sure I keep participating on a regular basis, otherwise what is the point of a forum…? Now my willingness to help anyone here has also decreased off course and that is how forums can loose their reason of existence.
And you say 24/7… Well, there is a huge difference between 24/7 and a month
I am currently participating in several forums on different websites and I have never had to wait for a month for an answer. In the worst case maybe a day or two, but normally within minutes or hours.

But let’s not get into a discussion and just get on with our lives now.
