You bring it to the windshield repair shop and pull out the bite so that it can be filled with epoxy resin. Do this before the beak starts smashing against the windshield. I’ve seen stone pecks on windshields cost ~$75.00 to repair; while a new windshield costs about 10 times more. The epoxy filler is invisible and as durable as the glass itself.

But if you are talking about a simple window, for example, in a house. Just replacing the window will be cheaper. On more advanced models of residential windows, glass is sometimes mounted in the frame as a replaceable component. This is often found on storm doors.
