Best place is Aliexpress.

January 3, 2017 at 3:35 pm #59749Hi, I have a huge problem with my Teclast X2 Pro Tablet. I got it on 19.12.2016 and the battery charges only up to 67% and then no further. Does anyone have the same problem and can help me or should I return the tablet? I bought it at Gearbest.
I would reluctantly send it back because the return is very complicated.
I hope someone can help me!January 10, 2017 at 6:19 am #60187Hi Daniel.
What problems are you encounting with the X2 pro battery?
myself also has some issues, but its a weird one.
Have had my X2 pro laying the closet for some months (lazy and needed to repair the antenna cable, since the female-pex-plug was trumped, and there is some variations on these antenna cable ufl, mhf3 mhf4 etc, when it comes to these small ipex plugs) and had the battery cable taken out while it was laying in the closet.
but finally decided to repair it and not least put some fresh heatsink on it and it sems to work, but the battery data went haywire and doesnt display values, it just says 100% 24/7..(tryed to make an clean install with fresh wondows, didnt help and tonight used the teclast own 8gb image-build and the same, doesnt display battery-values at all, and wonder what the hell, and the reason behind this issue and if one of the battery pins in the plugs are not connected..
what issues do you encounter with your battery since you looking for an new?
January 20, 2017 at 10:24 pm #60749ahh, hello again @jakob-rasmussen long time no see.
Sorry to hear about your problem. What if you unplug the battery for a while and maybe it will calibrate it self?
Well, my battery is completely dead. There is no power what so ever left, literately. SO I can only use it plugged in. So thats why I need a new battery, and unfortunately I still havent found any… So my tablet is kind of useless now
January 22, 2017 at 2:07 am #60787Hi Daniel, yeah long time no see 🙂
sorry to hear about your battery, any reason for it completely fallen in on itself and not being able to hold an charge, as in that is an relative new tablet, (1year) unless one have recharge it to the extreme numbers.
Took a look on Aliexpress and didnt see any either that where specific headed at X2 or X3 models.
but on the other hand, wouldnt it be possible to just get the dimensions correct on another liionpack and cell numbers (aka something that can fit in its place) and then just desolder if there is batt-protection fitted to the old bad packs and put that on a new pack. (unsure if that would work??, and you would likely need to go some capacity down in lack of optimal X2 batt-bay-dimension if one use some third party tabletbatterypack..(but useally they are pretty cheap) do you have the dimensions on the X2 battery?
-but on the other hand, there seems to be more to these batterypacks that used in tablet and laptops, and sometimes there is also some firmware protection that needs to be reset.(or at least thats my impression, remember that an old laptop of mine HP pavilion 17.3 dv9500) where the system says change battery and aint able to keep an charge and was wondering if I could just open the pack and exchange the bad 18650cells with good 18650cells used in most laptops, but it doesnt look like it is that easy when i examined it on the net and you could encounter that the firmware for the battery also need to be reset by seperate reset-hardware, so dropped that approach of manuall repair these 18650 cells
also wondering if thats the case why there is no battery information on my X2. and I have taken it a part again and carefully check the battery connection, and unconnected for some time etc. but no battery spec info at all.
it just shows 100% 24/7.. i tryed to load the original teclast x2 image with also the inbuild crapp android emulator, and and same in andoid emu there no info on the battery values at all. (the battery seems to work ok, at lest to some point’ it does keep the charge, but its doubtfull where you are on the drain and and what power is left in the battery,
I had the X2 pro in the closet for ½ year with the battery plug unconnected, so perhaps here there have been some reset of battery values or memory or ?? doesnt display any batt-values and its a pain in the ass
and also now have problems with bluetooth, the X2 pro doesnt noticify any equipment or the microsoft arc BT mouse i useally use with it , and I assume its because when i make an clean install here latest to get rid of the heavy emu.. there is allways these 4 driver-errors when double drivers make the driverrestore , (made the restore from tecttablets doubledriver dump) with doubledriver..(but how the hell do one repair these error, the bluetooth or anything else doesnt display any problems in hardwaremanagement)

Now I am wondering if it is possible to replace the internal battery.
Have not found a solution for the moment. If anyone has an idea.
