Alright I got my digitizer. I a bit stuck in a part in trying to remove the digitizer. I start removing all the tape that holding all those ribbon cables, popped out the front facing camera but the back camera seems to be glowed? I can’t seem to get it out I tried carfuly pulling it with tweezers but it just wont go. Is this thing Glued in there?
The other thing I’m having trouble with is the motherboard part that hangs over the tray that the majority of the components lay on is the motherboard also glued? I can’t seem to lift the motherboard off the bezel of the digitizer I have attached the part im talking about.
And lastly is there any other ribbion cables I should remove? there one that seesm to be right were the wireless antenna is but I don’t see anything like that on the replacement. Only one ribbion cable that connents to a small port. And I have tested the port with my new digitizer and it works fine.
And I have removed all the four screw on the corner of the tray.

I am interested in further information.
If my new digitizer was delivered, I have to make the same on my X98 pro. I think the doing is the same.

March 16, 2016 at 6:43 pm #29672No I’m waiting on a heatgun. I will try to warm up the board and see if it lifts off the bezel. The most frustrating part was getting the tape off the ribbon cables. They just applied them all over the board. And I didn’t want to pull to hard as the were laying over other ribion cables and if I pull to hard I didn’t want the ribbon cables to rip off.
Lucky for me the damage to the digitizer isn’t that bad. Its only a small line but the bottom part of the bezel is really damaged. I still would like to get it fixed for appearance purposes
March 24, 2016 at 7:00 am #30678I can’t seem to take the motherboard out. to replace the digitizer. even removing the four screw from the tray in which the motherboard is sitting on doesn’t seem to help I have taken a heatgun and tried to see if maybe there is glue that is holding it in place but it doesn’t seem to have soften it or made it easier for it to left off the tray.
As you can see in the video the closer I get to the corner where the ports are the motherboard becomes harder to lift up and doesn’t seem to move. I don’t want to break the motherboard by lifting it to much.
