Replacing the microphone possible?

Hey guys, I just got this ezbook 3 pro and I absolutely hate the microphone that is built in this laptop. It doesn’t pick up anything unless you speak really close to it which is pretty stupid. I tried using a combo 3.5mm headset and even that microphone has difficulty picking up sound from the headset.

Is it possible to replace the built in microphone on this laptop? I remember my thinkpad laptop had a really awesome built in microphone that would pick up everything in the room crystal clear.

 

Would appreciate any leads regarding this.
