August 11, 2016 at 12:06 pm #46420Hi Piotr and a big thank you for the links.
Both solutions sacrifice functionality it seems.I will go through both threads and came back if I found something I am happy with and worth sharing.
Thanks again for sharing this.
August 11, 2016 at 6:05 pm #46445After digging through the chuwi hi12 thread and chuwi forum in another website, there is unfortunately no solution to this problem because:
- The Keyboard touchpad is recognized as a mouse and not a touchpad (If you uninstall the driver, the edge swipes are still working)
- The Edge Swipes are recognized as Shortcuts like Win + D (Hide All) when swiping down from the top edge.
- The Edge Swipe are something else entirely from the current touchpad and no one has managed to disactivate them without stopping the shortcut activation from working as well.
- To Sum Up: if you do not want the edge swipe gestures to be activated, you have to render the windows keystroke or windows shortcuts totally useless.
Correct me if I am wrong, but this is my understanding and limited testing of the situation. Without proper driver, we will not be able to change the way the Touchpad works.
I will continue being on the lookout for a solution.

Using AutoHotkey, you could probably configure it so that Win+D, for example, only gets recognizes when there’s some minor delay between pressing the keys – that way you could disable the touchpad gesture while keeping keyboard functionality. I don’t use the hotkey myself so I can’t be bothered to figure out how to do it.
August 12, 2016 at 2:25 pm #46530I wasn’t bothered either despite trying some script yesterday!
I thought about your solution, I will try it and report back.
