Please help!
I deleted all android partition and only remain windows, and then i accidentally disable the usb in bios setting.
i try to fix it using this method : http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/reset-bios-chuwi-vi10pro-no-keyboard/#post-38906
TWRP is boot “successfully” ( won’t go pass 66% ), but my tablet always shut down and disconnected from pc ( not available in device manager ) shortly after reaching 66% (Booting to droidboot.img success) before the progress bar is timeout. i try to connect usb keyboard to my tablet but still disabled.
And then i try to flash the android firmware provided by chuwi using MFT but my tablet always shut down and disconnected from pc after the progress reaching 11% (Booting to droidboot.img success)
usb still disabled!
Maybe it’s because i deleted all android partition.
Any idea?
my tablet bios version is : BIOS: J1D_S165C_206 (used in the 221509 and 221510 revisions)
BIOS date: 09/21/2015
MD5: e1f93389808e45ae375be9f9d0b8030fJuly 27, 2016 at 3:46 pm #44738Ah, this is probably an ommission from my instructions. Sorry…
You must wait for the tablet to actually boot TWRP which takes some time after it “disconnects”. When you get to the 66% and the tablets “disconnects” leave it alone for 30 seconds or more and TWRP should boot up on the tablet 😉
July 28, 2016 at 5:00 am #44801Thanks jo,
So, After 66% the tablet disconnected and the tablet screen turned off, i have to wait until the progress timeout and twrp boot.
I will try again and post the result.
But will it work if i have deleted all android partition before?
July 28, 2016 at 4:51 pm #44890Hayley, it should work without the Android partitions. I think at one point I checked this would work after erasing the eMMC entirely.
You just need to let it sit there until either TWRP starts up (you should get 8 options on the screen) or a minute passes, in which case something went wrong. The screen will briefly turn off at 66%. Please be aware that the latest version of droidboot.img is linked to in this post.

August 6, 2016 at 5:02 pm #45906Thomas, the fact that you don’t have the touchscreen suggests that you are on the older hardware (or a newer revision that I haven’t come across before). Did you use the latest droidboot.img that added support for the older HW?
August 6, 2016 at 5:13 pm #45908After the device disconnected, the tablet screen is turned off and then i wait until the progress is timeout.
i wait for the twrp boot but nothing show up. it remains turned off.

I have a new deployment system for this fix that might help you and I intend to produce a video guide for it too, however, I’m not ready to release it yet.
In the meantime can you please try a different lead and if possible a different computer?
Can you also please confirm that you have the Vi10 or Vi10 pro and not the Ultimate or any other model of the Vi10?
If possible please post a video of what you’re doing, but if it’s not possible then don’t worry.August 6, 2016 at 6:14 pm #45919Thanks jo, i will try again using a fresh install windows 7,
Before i disabled the usb and after i remove all android partition, everytime when i choose android in os selection and boot it automatically going to dnx mode. is that normal?
Also i forgot to disable driver signature.
August 6, 2016 at 6:58 pm #45924In my experience when the Vi10 can’t boot an OS it drops you into EFI Shell rather than DnX mode, it might signify another issue with your tablet.
I’ve just tried my new system on Windows 7 and it’s OK (except that it produces gobbledygook instead of a QR code but that doesn’t affect the fix at all). If you want to try it it’s here. Just extract on your PC and run run_me.bat…
August 6, 2016 at 9:07 pm #45944Thanks again for the tools, i will try it again
but it is required to have sd card inserted?
August 6, 2016 at 9:17 pm #45946In your case the SD card is not needed 😉

Hello thanks for your dtoidboot.img but how i can flash it if twrp doesnt work?
Thanks
August 7, 2016 at 6:24 pm #46029Thomas, I’m not sure that I understand your issue.
You said in your first post “My chuwi vi 10 boot on twrp but the usb port still doesnt work .in twrp i have no tactil” which I understood to mean that that TWRP starts up but you can’t use the touchscreen? That’s all you need to happen for the fix to kick in, you don’t have to run it manually from TWRP or flash TWRP.Either replace the old droidboot.img with the new one and do what you did to get the first one running or try the new deployment system.
