A good question. As soon as mine arrives I’m going to take an image of it just in case.

There are driver packs here in this forum.

    For 64 bit windows:
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bw0BaAg1841MY3dlY1dCbktnTEU/view?usp=sharing

    And also for 32bit windows:
    https://mega.nz/#!xpdnQYgT!7XflIyn5P6qgKbIcdnzPEyFbLmOM294icz0e1aAfFgE

If you need the ISOs from Microsoft, you can download them here:
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/techbench

And remember to download the best tool to make a bootable USB drive from those ISO images:
    https://rufus.akeo.ie/

    Kind regards.

Thanks, I have installed a fresh 64bit windows 10 + install the driver provided in this forum.

Installation is not trivial, everytime the procedure needs to reboot it start the install from the USB

again, you have to master that by removing the the usb before the next install reboot

it seems everything works fine except for two things

    1. the camera is not working and the driver provided here failed to install due to it is not signed
    2. charging is extremely slow, I am not sure  if it is driver reading or a normal behavior

I managed to install a clean copy of Win 10 however the drivers don’t seem to be installing correctly, I right click on the files and install but none of the key drivers are working.

What process did you follow to get the drivers installed and everything working?

    Thanks

My solution to Windows10 drivers issues
    Model: Hi10 Q64G42160—— Dual boot

    STEPS:

    1. I downloaded ISO from official website https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10ISO
    2. Upload the iso to a USB stick
    3. Boot and install on Chuwi..
    4. No drivers working and when i tried this drivers ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bw0BaAg1841MY3dlY1dCbktnTEU) for chuwi Hi10 some passes but major one didnt(i tried all chuwi hi10 drivers that i found in google)
    5. I put my usb-wifi adaptor(usb wifi receiver device(yeah its old)), and i got WIFI working
    6. I installed all updates from ControlPanel>Check For Updates(it took 1 hour)
    7. After that I still didnt have touchscreen,G-sensor,(but WIFI drivers worked so i didnt need usb-wifi adaptor anymore)
    8. I tried again from Driver Manager to add these drivers: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bw0BaAg1841MY3dlY1dCbktnTEU but nothing happen again
    9. So I went to the drivers folder and pick some folder and pick the .inf file and Right button> Install and it worked! not all of the drivers passed(like 70% passed) but now it is working very well, without any issues I have sensors, camera, bluetooth, wifi, battery

    END STEPS:

    MY STORY:

I had to reset the windows and got issues from that so i formatted entire disk

I tried a lot of operation system because my drivers (touchscreen , wifi, sensors ) didnt work
    (Ubuntu(16.04), Kubuntu(14.04), Mint, Win8.1 , Android,Custom Android OS, RemixOS)
But nothing work the way i want to , so i finished with Windows 10
It took me like 2 months almost to find a proper solution.

    END MY STORY

I hope this could help to somebody!

I would do it too if I will purchase Chuwi Hi10. Unfortunately, when I purchased Chuwi Hi12 in July 2016 – 5 months ago – I didn’t know that I can take image of OS beforehand. Since then Windows 10 automatically updated to Anniversary Edition and I don’t know if someone can offer an image of original OS for me. I am even thinking about purchasing second exemplar of Chuwi Hi12 to get the unaltered system image. At very least I shouldn’t repeat the same mistake with Chuwi Hi10.

Chuwi images including drivers are available for Hi10 Plus Z8350 (Remix 2.0 and Windows 10) again from Chuwi forum.

The reuploading process of the images into dropbox is in progress. All the images will be uploaded soon as Emily wrote somewhere in that forum.

(I have to reinstall mine after checking the structure of emmc from ubuntu boot iso.)

Hello, Usually the brightness slider can be found in Windows settings under Color, if it is not there then it indicates a system program that affects desktops and laptops with built-in displays and these problems usually occur due to some updates or changes in the system or incorrect driver settings, go to https://windowsfixhub.com/fix/8-tested-steps-to-fix-a-missing-brightness-slider-in-windows/ and there are instructions on how to set everything up yourself, so as not to take it to the service center.

I recently encountered some issues with my Windows 10 installation and decided to restore it to its original state. However, after the restoration, I realized that I also needed to activate it, and I was looking for a free and reliable way to do so. I don’t want to spend extra money on a new license, and I’m unsure about the best method to activate Windows 10 without compromising my system’s security. What are the best practices for restoring and activating Windows 10 for free?

Restoring your Windows 10 OS to its original state is a good first step to fix any underlying issues. Once that’s done, activating Windows 10 can be achieved without spending extra money by using a legitimate activation tool. I recommend checking out the guide available at windows 10 activator free download 64 bit . It provides detailed instructions on how to activate Windows 10 for free. Just make sure to follow the steps carefully to ensure your system remains secure and properly activated.
