Hi everyone
I’m going on a trip soon and I’d like to bring a tablet along for the occasional blog post (text and pictures). I don’t want to spend a ton of money (in case it breaks or gets stolen), somewhere up to 350 max. That’s when I though some of these Chines tablets might do. I’ve read a few reviews and done some research/comparing and got kinda stuck with the Teclast tablets. The Models X98 Air, X98 Plus and X98 Pro. Each with their benefits and drawbacks. On the must have side I have:
- 10 inch screen
- Windows, with ACDSee possibly even Photoshop
- Keyboard
- Dualboot a plus
- Video Playback
- Good battery life (at least 5 hours with moderate use)
- Decent audio
Things I can do without:
Since I won’t be gaming the X98 Plus might do. I read that the audio is pretty bad though. Is that something that has improved over the last months? When I check the official Teclast website they only list the X98 Plus (with and without 3G). The Pro and the Air are no longer listed. Anyone know why? Are those both older tablets? I’ve read that the Air actually performs better than the Plus. The Pro seems interesting too. But the battery life is supposed to be pretty bad plus it overheats very fast. You can see I’m going back an forth between those three. Would any of these work with Photoshop? No heavy photo editing just the occasional touch up. Do any of those come with a decent keyboard (that can be bought separately)? Dualboot with Android would also be a plus. Are there maybe any other manufacturers I should take a look at?
