Hiya
I tried to upgrade to this ROM from V2, but the flash failed…
Will try a full wipe. Can you make one specific to the Air II as well?

Thank you. I have uploaded a fix and the updated link is now in the first message of this thread.
This image should work on an Air II w/o a problem, but I will post an image derived from the Air II Teclast final image as well.
It will probably be a day or 2 before I have the Air II image. In the mean time this image should work on your device.
August 12, 2015 at 3:16 pm #9481Hello. I’ve the C5J5 air 3g and was on the lollipop mirek rom v.2.
I tried to install your version v.2 but installation fails: seems to be a timeout wile trasfering the system.img..
Then i installed your v.3 version. Installation goes ok, but i’ve problems with the gapps: ther’s no contact and calendar sync option and in the suspersu says that the tablet is not rooted..
August 13, 2015 at 3:12 am #9516I wanted to thank you for your work on the new rom and let everyone know it worked great on my Feb 2015 X98 air 3g 64gig dual boot C9J6!
I followed all of your tutorials on the XDA forums to check the bios version, install the drivers, update the bios to 2.02, install the IMF, and the ROM without any issues.
Here are the steps I did on a win 7 x64 host machine using guides from XDA forum posts by Randy aka TecKnight:
0) Make sure you have a charged tablet
1) Shutdown Virtual machine software to make sure no virtual machines grab my tablet
2) Get the Windows 8.1 CD Key using the tool here on TechTablets
3) Install the ADB drivers following this guide – Here
4) Followed the Bios upgrade guide – Here
5) Install and Configure the Intel Manufacturing Flash Tool on a Windows Host PC –Here
6) Followed the flashing guide, but I used the 5.0 v3a ROM posed in this thread on the 1st page. Here is the guide (Note I did reinstall the ADB drivers as recommended although they were new) – Here
Everything is working great an my Windows 8.1 image still works great.
* Sorry if posting XDA links here is not a good thing. I am new to the forum.
Thanks again Chris and TecKnight!!!

August 13, 2015 at 10:41 am #9536Yup, root is broken with this at the moment. Look forward to the Air II version!
August 14, 2015 at 11:03 am #9658Do you’ve a solution?! Couse I would like to Install the official lollipop rom. Would be great one with only root and debloated. Without launcher, etc.. Thanks
August 15, 2015 at 3:13 am #9736I hope Randy fixes these issues soon, it’s a awesome ROM!!
Also, can you shrink the size of the bottom navigation bar is possible?
August 15, 2015 at 5:38 am #9740This ROM gets stuck at 75% while flashing system.IMG. My MFT installation is correct as I could flash MIREK V4 & V4.1 with same setup from win7. I can’t find out the problem. Need help.
August 15, 2015 at 6:43 am #9742Root not working in V3a but love the Rom.

August 25, 2015 at 1:21 pm #10335Hi all…
Please, whenever it comes to install a rom I’m a rookie . . .
For now I only ask: this v3 is compatible with 3G Teclast Air C5J6?
August 26, 2015 at 1:41 pm #10407Hi! I’m trying to flash v3a and the MFT flashing fails at 75% while flashing system, after a 180sec timeout (MFT’s timeout values have been all set to 999 so something’s overwriting them…). Using a Windows 10 x64 PC for flashing a X98 Air 3G C9J8 from original 4.4 ROM, BIOS upgraded to 2.0.2 without any issue, windows partition working normally. Wiped Android data and cache manually from recovery menu after the first failed flash, but to no avail. Here’s the log from MFT:
08/26/15 15:31:31.037 WARNING: Port 0/1/2 #0: Process TIMEOUT Failed to execute “fastboot -s Baytrail1C4FD6A8 -S 100M flash system “C:\Users\Bence\Downloads\rootedromV3a\system.img””

08/26/15 15:34:32.008 ERROR : Port 0/1/2 #0: Flash failure
EDIT: Despite all this, Android boots into 5.0 as seen on the video (how?! :-O ). However, there’s no root access and the “clear memory” button seems to be missing. Also, there’s no play store, but I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be part of the rom.
