Chinese tablet maker seemingly ran out idea, they kept churning out with same old ATOM Zs with improvised better looking tablets. It leaves me wondering why on earth trying to sell their products base on aesthetic reasons, i think they should be practical on improving what they are usually bad at. what is 20 ~30 dollars to buyers if the qualities are improved. if my wish granted, i would love to see a better sound quality , touch screen, getting the system right or the way it should be, not having unwanted system calamity, leaving you tech guys to sort out for them, never even said a work of thank you.

I should see tablets are meant to be more portable than a laptop, it seems like the makers going back to laptop-ish. Why bother buying where a laptop performance is much better for same price with the exception of heavier and  larger unit. Will it really be dreadful to lug another 500gm more.

It is frustrating to see makes like Teclast x3 pro which is my choice because of the 8Gb ram,but not loved. The loved one will be Cube i9 but 4 gb ram, can’t write on screen. I7 is great but preferable to have 12″. Nearly plunge for x3 pro, but change my mind, i guess i will stick to my x98air 3G until these chinese tablets come out with something better. I wont look another Atom based units , i can wait.

Change will come soon, Apollo Lake and new 7th gen chips early next year. I’m very much sick of the atom X5 z8300. MFG’s will start to change as they see sales slide.

How about Acer Switch Alpha 12? Though its more expensive, but not as expensive as Surface…

I suppose Chinese vendors will do minor refreshes as its cheap and as long it makes sales.

The thing is, Chinese brands purchase the units at a large volume manufacturers. They are basically just re-selling a batch of generic tablets bought at one of the manufacturers in Shenzhen. That’s why you don’t see any support from most companies. Go to Globalsources and type in “Skylake” “z8300” or “z8500” and you will see one of your tablets – just without Chuwi, Cube, Teclast etc. plastered on it.
