    Hello,

I received a ezBook 3 pro v4 for my son, and was one of the lucky few to have a SanDisk eMMc. After running CrystalDisk a got some (not so bad) scores…

Is it worth the upgrade to ssd, and which brand is recommended ?

I got the full locked bios, and can’t change it due some mistake my side.. (see other post)

Perhaps i can even change the bios speeds after unlock… 😐

    Greetings Tom

I can’t give you a good recommendation, since I find the BIOS to be really annoying, at least with my Hynix SSD. Others are reporting issues as well, but it might depend on your SSD/BIOS combination.

Perhaps i can even change the bios speeds after unlock… ? Greetings Tom

I don’t know what “BIOS speeds” you want to change (eMMC?), but in my v5 Ezbook it was already set to the highest possible value after I unlocked the BIOS, so I wouldn’t expect that you can increase speeds beyond that.
