Screen remains black, but I can hear Windows sounds

Just overnight my Teclast X98 Plus remains in a black screen state. Whatever I do, rebooting, holding power button 10 seconds, 5 seconds, power + volume combined, it remains black.

When I attach a usb hub wiht a small blue led I can see that it does get its charge from the teclast when connected, so I also can see when it shuts down when I hold power for 10 seconds, and then pressing power again 3 secs I see the light turn on. So the tablet is reacting, but the screen remains black.

Any tips?

For the record: there’s not even a teclast boot logo. Nothing.

Hate to say but your screen died on you. Might be a defect I suggest RMA on it. Unfornately there’s nothing that we can do. Unless you open it up and check for loose cable or buy a screen replacement which some say not worth it. But if warranty is over in it then it’s worth as its only 80 dollars.

Have you tried to connect the Tablet to your TV via HDMI?.
