Did u do something special to your Windows? since i got a 64GB and 128Gb and just android can read it. And of course i enabled and rechecked that MS BUS options.

I cant use my SD CARD in windows :’v

No, I didn’t anything. My unit has only Windows (from factory). But you aren’t only one who can use SD card only in Android.

I managed to get my 64GB SD card to be usable by windows.

Until recently, it was not working on my tablet (I got an exclamation mark with Error 10 in device manager).

I recently decided to divide it in 2 parts (make a second partition for Link2SD in android) so I divided it in 2 primary partitions over MBR. One as exFat and one as ext2. Out of curiosity I booted back to Windows, and again no luck (still the error 10) . But since I wanted to check some files on it, I used an external card reader to read the SD Card.  After having finished, I put the card back into the tf card slot, and I noticed I could still see it.

I dont know if its just pure luck (that 1 in 10 times it works that people have mentioned happening), I dont know if connecting it to an external adapter initialized some variable that could not initialize by the TF adapter, or any Windows voodoo like that, or it was just a windows update running at the same time that updated the driver, but for the last couple of hours (and 3-4 restarts) I have a working 64GB Sdcard , that refused to work in the past.

I ll let you know if it stops working

For some reason high speed cards don’t work well on these Chinese tablets.

I just bought 2 low speed Samsung Evo microsd and I put the 64gb into the iwork8, instantly recognised and working well.

Could you post the exact model ?

Its the Samsung Evo 48MB/s. I formatted it fat32 with fat32formatter and both android and windows are reading it fine now.

I use a 128GB card (Silicon Power Elite 128GB SP128GBSTXBU1V20SP) in mine no problem, formatted as ntfs in windows.

My tablet is the cherry trail one.

Well, now the SD reader failed under android too. Just great.

And yes, I’ve tried several microSD cards: it reads it randomly, failing to do that 9 times out of 10 and, even when it reads it, at reboot that very same SD card is gone again. Ironically, I’ve not the same problem on Windows, now. I’ve flashed the stock rom again and again; nothing changed.

This chinese tablet is the WORST purchase of my life, indeed.
