    I got my x98 plus a week ago and I got an Adata 64GB card for it. It came formatted as exfat but it caused the tab to crash on me several times. Ok lets format to NTFS, it booted but after I accessed it a few times it crashed the tab also. Finally I downloaded a utility to format the card to Fat32 and now everything works as it should.

    What experience do others have on SD cards and the formats, allocation size, etc.

    Teclast X98 Air 3G (C9J8) with SanDisk Ultra microSD cards (various capacities from 8 up to 64 GB) : no problems with FAT32 & NTFS (default cluster size).
