    Hi all,

So I have a company laptop that is heavy to carry around and I’m looking for something that would meet my needs on trips to europe and such so that I don’t have to carry around something heavy.  Here are my requirements I guess:

    •  a ipad type sized screen (9+) with good resolution.
    • something that will allow me to connect it to a tv via hdmi
    • a relatively inexpensive device.
    • something that allows me to watch netflix of hi def videos on.
    • allows me to play video games.  I typically prefer installing ppsspp emulator on my computer and play psp games on it.  Not really into the hi end gpu intensive type systems although I nice to have would be if it could do steam home sharing where my main computer that is an i7 core run the games.  This of course is when i’m not travelling.
    • I also do database related stuff.  Would be nice to be able to install ssms and do some minor sql server db stuff or at least to be able to connect to my work domain and connect to my central sql server database to do some queries.
    • I also would like to be able to install forticlient vpn and connect to my work\company domain when i’m not in the office and use rdp to connect to my office computer.
    • a dual boot with android and windows. Windows to do my work stuff and some gaming on and android to install apps, games whatever.

I find that my old ipad 2 sucks now.  Since i updated to the newest IOS version 9.2.1 its become really slow and to be honest I am sick and tired in apple and their practices.  Recently I got an android phone from work and realized that android is wayyyyyy better than apple IOS.  There ins nothing locked down and you can pretty much do anything you want on it, however; i still do like to be able to have a windows type environment for work related stuff.

Any advice would be welcome.  Thanks guys.
