    Hi Fred, Windows 10 restore (factory reset) is the best way. But if that failed then you would have to use a factory image to restore it using WINPE. Sadly I don’t have those files for it.

    Please support us and help keep TechTablets online. Affiliate revenue is used to pay for the server, studio apartment (Techtablets HQ) and buy new tech to review. Without it, this site would be dead.

    Thanks for the response Chris. I hope you are well and the website/youtube channel is doing ok. I tried doing the Win 10 factory reset and it just hung at 7%. After waiting a few hours i forced it to power down and eventually managed to get it to reboot but it wasn’t happy. Couldn’t get the boot up screen giving the option to select android or windows – it kept on displaying the large battery charging icon. Got it going now but i don’t want to try resetting it again. Unless someone has a better idea, i am going to try and create another administrator account and use that to delete my microsoft account. Not satisfactory really as sensitive information will still be on the disk to those with the knowledge to find it.
