    Hi All,

I have this problem, please help. This is my first tablet and I will love it once this is resolved.

Here are the sequence of steps I took since I got the tablet yesterday:

-I restored both android and windows 8.1 to factory defaults because they had dummy accounts set up

-I went ahead and upgraded win8.1 to win10 with the media creation tool (option: do not keep any files, this was the only way it went on because of space limit)

-win10 installed perfectly, I used kb+m to install double drivers, touchscreen became usable

Everything was set to go except I couldnt access android, so I downloaded the insyde files from this site and since I couldnt find ANYTHING on how to use it, I launched an exe that restarted the tablet without any prompt. I found myself in some kind of boot menu with blue square options, about six of them but I didnt poke around in case I break anything (…) and chose continue.

Since then, I am stuck in android. When I click the OS switch, it boots up win10 but when I get to log in it just says “Shutting down…” and kicks me back to android.

I am desperate, please give me some ideas to fix this.

    Thank you.

    I had the same issue…

I did several time a hard shut off while booting windows by long pressing the power button. Finally I got to the extended  windows options and there to the command prompt. With the DOS commands I was able to rename the insyde folder. Now booting into windows is possible.

But the question remains how to install insyde correctly …

For future visitors of this thread, remember that you can access the OS selector without requiring a keyboard by holding volume down + power while turning the device on.
