Slow WIFI in Windows 10 while Android has good performance.

Hello,

I have 3 Teclast X98 AIR 3g devices, all C5J6. I am very satisfied with the performance and battery life of the devices.

Strangely enough, only one device seems to have some performance issues with WIFI in Windows 10, the same device does not have this problem in Android. The WIFI is very slow in Windows 10. I have tried a couple of things such as:
– completely resetting Windows 10 and working from a clean install.
– reinstalling the WIFI drivers.
– comparing the settings and driver versions with the other two devices.

I really do not have a clue why there is such a difference.

Can anybody explain why there is such a difference in performance and, of course, what to do to increase the WIFI speed.

Check power plan in windows and set maximum performance.

I have just checked the power plan, there where no WIFI settings and the settings are same on the other two devices.

It was a good idea though, thanks! I’ll keep searching for an answer.

I have reset the Windows 10 once again, this seems to have solved the problem. Maybe some setting needed an extra reset.
