Long story short, smoke came out of the part outlined in the picture.
Now tablet uses battery even when it’s off and even when the battery is empty until battery voltage drops to 2.7 and then my guess is that the board attached to the battery stops the current.
None of the charging ports work (I can charge it by attaching those two red wires to the current coming from a powerbank board (3.7v), but when it starts discharging again, that damaged part becomes extremely hot.
Do you know that part? Is it replaceable?
Btw, it’s a x98 plus ii.
