In the last couple of days I have had to devote a lot of time to getting my Cube to launch Windows. There has been much holding the power button, waiting for a response and  repeatedly, before getting beyond the dual boot page to choose Windows OS (Android is OK). Launch then fails to complete. I have got it to the advanced recovery menu and tried all the relevant options, including automatic repair (“Windows cannot repair your PC”). I have a recovery USB drive which seems to help, although it seems it has to be removed before launching will proceed. Eventually Windows does launch (after perhaps half an hour plus) and then it runs well enough.

What I do is very hit and miss, frankly shambolic  — I would welcome some help. For example what is the correct sequence of actions?. I recall having read about holding the sound button down at the same time as the power button. I have tried a few times but have not found any benefit, and I believe it should not be done for too long? Meaning what? Are there other things I should do? What do I need to do to stop it reoccurring?
