    Use a set of pliers to rotate the ‘base’ of the screw, so you can lift it out of the small slot surrounding the screw.

    Then you can reinsert it at the slot for the 2280 ssd.

    NOne of the above work. Microsoft has blocked extension of system partition.  I can clone and boot from the ssd but am stuck with the same sized partitions. I refuse to pay for “Free, easy and fast tools” just to discover they don’t work too.

    I refuse to pay for “Free, easy and fast tools” just to discover they don’t work too.

    There’s no reason to pay for the pro versions. The required features are in the freeware versions.

    They worked fine for me. If they didn’t work for you, there are several other free methods for cloning and changing partition size. For example someone mentioned using Macrium Free.
