After quite a lot e-mails with banggood staff, finally I got an answer related to the serial numbers dilemma.
here what they wrote me:
About the item 1044181, we have checked Q64G4516010XXXX and Q64G4516030XXXX with seller. The "01" means January and "03" means March.
This could mean that tablets made in January are the old one without stylus support for sure, but we can’t be sure that March ones have all new hardware…
EDIT: Banggood just confirmed me by a new mail that
About the item 1044181, we have checked that the stock in our warehouse is dual version. And the dual boot version is stylus version.

April 13, 2016 at 3:39 pm #33309So dual boot will be the final stylus version? No new hardware revision?
April 15, 2016 at 2:31 pm #33660From Chuwi Official,
I mean that you can return your tablet to Chuwi factory if you want to upgrade your old hi12 (only win10) to dualboot (win10 +android) ,but the mainboard and touch panel are original except for adding android os. And upgraded hi12 don’t still support stylus. Only new version hi12 can support stylus.
So old version hi12 and new version hi12 are difference between mainboard and touch panel.April 18, 2016 at 6:25 am #34018What about this at Geekbuing?
I think there is no sense to produce different types. So I think is the matter of software and drivers to have full working stylus tablet.
April 18, 2016 at 6:46 am #34021I’ve checked with Chuwi China on the type of stylus it supports. This was what they sent me. No mentioning of brands or type. But it does state that it supports 512 levels of pressure sensitivity, 0.2MM tip and response time not more than 25 miliseconds. I’m still trying to get them to tell me the brand or make of the stylus.
April 18, 2016 at 6:52 am #34022I got message from supplier Tablet PC who selling Teclast Stylus:
Tablet PC: Hello, this pen just suit for Teclast X2 Pro / X16 Pro / X16 Power Tablet PC
But I think that massage if only to get rid of me. They definitly dont try it.
April 19, 2016 at 2:25 pm #34274did anyone already receive a dual boot stylus version (03 serials)??
April 20, 2016 at 8:20 am #34368Hi, Chuwi Hi12 stylus is named HiPen.
April 22, 2016 at 9:41 pm #34719I just got mine two days ago. It is an “04” serial version . It is a dual OS,not sure about stylus though. No probs yet!
April 23, 2016 at 12:57 am #34734Does 03 serial also support stylus?

April 23, 2016 at 7:34 am #34753Does the x8300 supports more than 2gb ram?
April 23, 2016 at 8:46 am #34757Please, could someone inform me the following ?
I see in Amazon and other shops, several active styluses, with several prices (WACOM, ADONIT e.t.c.) which they claim that can
be used with all touch screens ( Tablets, Phones, e.t.c. ).
If this is a fact….. why we need to buy a “STYLUS VERSION” of a tablet ??
I have ordered the Chuwi Hi 12 DUAL BOOT, but i’m really confused, if its not the stylus version , means that i can’t use another
active stylus ???
Can anyone make me wiser on this matter ?
