I’ve encountered massive screen flickers especially after watching full screen streamed videos. The flickering stopped after shutting down the tablet and letting it rest for a few minutes. I’ve done the copper shim and added thermal pastes to where the processor sits to improve thermals but it’s still flickering as before
The flicker is very similar to here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8P-RRcvbVjI but in my case it’s a lot severe. Anyone else experienced this and solved it without needing to get back to Chuwi?July 2, 2019 at 10:46 am #181268Chris GKeymaster

Have you updated the Intel display driver? I know someone before had issues with flicker and we all thought it was a hardware issue, turned up to be driver related.

solution for me was to disable intel virtualization technology in BIOS. its working without flickering currently. If I wont report back here, then the issue is fixedMay 1, 2020 at 10:26 am #183002ChihParticipant

I tried disable intel virtualization technology .. didn’t work… Chuwi Support basically says they have no parts to repair the Surbook so there’s nothing they can do.
It seems that it’s related to heat issues though, the problem only surfaces when the Surbook heats up
