Hello. I am back for another round of questions. My screen died for my Teclast X80 Pro e3e9. So I was thinking I could use the board stand alone. The only problem is. I try to connect the power how I usually did and it seems to not power on. Nothing happens. I get no picture or anything. I have the power coming from an Orange Pi Lite since the included wall wart was nothing short of nonfunctional for me. Has anyone been able to use the boards stand alone? I also tried to solder on an extra usb type A, but that was an utter failure. Has anyone had any luck with that either?

Hmm, it seems that you have tried to solder a USB type A port to the LED and SPEAKER terminals…

I hear there are actually two unmarked pads on the back of the board that are an additional data+ and data- for an extra USB port, but you’ll have to find +5v and 0v lines from elsewhere…
