Of course much easier would be connect keyboard and mouse via hub.

I did figure out if you get to bios, load the windows boot manager in the save settings section. This gets you to the recovery menu.
I did a system refresh. It stopped after 30 min and on reboot it no longer loads anything windows 10.
So, to install windows, do I simply need to attach a USB with a windows10 iso to the tablet?
I tried earlier but it didn’t seem to recognize the usb
November 26, 2015 at 7:02 am #16732you can make bootable USB while downloading windows 10 home from microsoft- at downloading it asks about creation of bootable USB. It will be not activated, but this solvable later on.

I downloaded the image in the post stickied in this forum. It is about 8gb
Then I used diskpart in the cmd prompt to partion my key to GPT. Then formated my usb key fat32, copied the files from above and renamed the volume to WINPE
Connected the usb to my tablet, turned it on pressing F7 and then selected the boot device.
Everything then installed without a hitch!
July 31, 2016 at 4:12 am #45159hey guys..i got a windows 10 tablet (Trekstor Surftab wintron 7.0)..
I performed a factory re set and it was stuck in a percentage of 48% for more than 8 hours..so i turned it off. Now i am getting an endless boot loop after the loading name trekstor comes up..it happens like this :
Trekstor Loading>>Windows 48%>>>Turns off and starts up again
So after a few days i tried to start it up..and it showed a “cursor of death” in a black screen..
However i am still able to load up the “run” and ms config> anyone has any ideas on recovering my tab??

Hi, Unfortunately the motherboard has melted. Where can I find a new mobo for the X98 pro tablet.
I have tried Teclast – no answer. The chinese seller cannot supply.
I used to repair Laptops before retirement, so I am quite qualified to change the board.
Any ideas, please write a email -
