Tablet headphone SQ comparable to Samsung?

1. I really enjoy listening to music and use full size over ear headphones. Although my Xiomi Mimax2 struggles with them a 3 year old Samsung Tab a, the smaller 8″  version, makes an excellent music player. Looking to move my entire music library to a tablet and ideally would be looking to get a new larger tablet to make reading easier as well. Which Chinese tablets at the lower price points, ie $300 Australian max, have equal sound quality to the Samsung? I know the field is small at this price and I may not be able to get what I’m after, but hopeful.
