I recommend the lite Mirek190 Android 5.0 version 5 rom. It’s very quick and tweaked. No bloat and works great. It’s in the download section under X98 Air 3G http://techtablets.com/downloads-drivers-roms/

Thanks for the advice, it crossed my mind about P98, which is a octa core, unfortunately it does not have the HDMI port which my friend said it is a must, otherwise it would have been OK. the other thing is I heard of the TUI issues again for P98, just in the case if i were to own a P98, would mirek’s rom be applicable? If not, whose rom will be the stable ones.

Another thing that slipped my mind, mirek 190 version 5, i am seriously thinking to replace the stock rom, but i am not familiar with flashing this. I have seen your video, seems quite a task.My concern is i do not want to mess up with my windows side as i need it for my work, can’t afford to lose the data even though i had saved to one drive and external HD. The idea of getting to start all over again terrifies me. Questions
- If i cock up the flashing on android, would it be still ok on the windows side and anyway to reset it back to the stock rom.?
- Beside following step by step video you provide on flashing. What other precautions should i take before , during and after flashing process to avoid bricking it.
Thanks

Few more questions before i proceed to flash mirek 190 android 5, v 5.0 for my teclast x98 air 3G (C5J6). Have diligently followed the TTT procedure to install MFT, now that is done, the next thing is to Flash. However, i come to a doubtful juncture on what to select.Just to remind you guys, I only interested in flashing android. Apologies from a Beginner.
- Full Flash with repartitioning- after the reading it , this seems scary, enlighten me this option. Would it mean wiping off EVERYTHING including windows?I like the idea of repartition by having more on windows and perhaps 8~10gb will suffice on Android. This is because the windows update may eventually eaten up the space, for android i hardly play games, as 3D games WILL heat up this tablet. If this option you deemed advance for a beginner, stop me…
- Flash System Only- wipe data.- I certainly can live with this if it wipe off on Android ONLY.
- Flash System Only- No wipe data- Worst case, this is the only option.
Opinions?
Thanks

The first option will delete your windows completely, If you want to repartition your tablet to give more space to windows, I think that is possible with another program, but I have no experience with this.
The second option only wipe data is the one you will need in this case to get a clean install of android, succes!
October 19, 2015 at 2:16 am #13582Bart,
I would have thought so that option 1 gave me an uncomfortable feeling. Now at least i know what to do. I can live with lesser space on windows. appreciated for your advice, thanks.
October 19, 2015 at 2:21 pm #13618Bart,
Flash done using option 2 and you are right, no hickup, smooth sailing. One thing I am surprised by the speed when surfing compared to the stock ROM, everything seems smoother. Thanks. By the way, what is the difference on the ultra lite version?
October 22, 2015 at 1:44 am #13888Tech Guys,
Just flashed Mirek 190 and was good and smooth, However prompt to switch over to Windows, it booted back to Android even on normal switching, it just won’t switch. have to resort pressing power button and volume up together to get in. Any ideas on whether i am unaware of any settings or it just wont work.
