TBook 11 E5A6 suddenly asking for MS login password at Windows boot – hanging!

I downloaded an app for recording the screen (IceCream) and did it via their own website – not MS Store.

Next time I went to boot up, a password screen appeared at wWindows start (never did that before) asking for my password to MS login!

BUT when I enter my password it adds ‘Welcome’ underneath and just hangs with the ‘busy’ circle going round – and around – and around.

Yes, the wifi is working . . . connected as per the wifi icon at the bottom right of the login screen . . .

WTF is happening – and ideas? Totally locked out.
