The hinge broke on my F5. I fixed it by gluing the back of the hing back on to the case
BUT, the flex ribbon cable between the screen and the case has snapped and now there’s no touchscreen, keyboard or trackpad. It broke on the right angle turn in the cable.
I’ve tried to repair it, but its tiny, fiddly and cannot be soldered
I really need a replacement cable, but this being a chinese device, there’s next to no chance of getting it.
Can anyone offer and advice?
If not then my F5 is completely useless. Gutted, as I was really enjoying it.

Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30April 22, 2019 at 8:01 pm #151467The back of the hinge mechanism broke away from the case, so it wouldn’t open unless it twisted the whole screen side of the case. I took it apart, fixed the hinge and the cable snapped when I put it back together. So, I broke it.
It could be a job for the tiniest soldering I’ll ever do.
Got a F6 Pro on the way, but this F5 will need to be fixed to get some money back
